magg.uz guides are the editors' answers to «where», «where to go» and «which one to choose». Here is how they are made.
Guides are written by the magg.uz editorial team. There are no invented authors: every guide is signed «magg.uz editorial team» and carries the date of its last update.
The editors pick the places themselves, based on the question the guide answers — never for payment. Each place is described through the one reason you would go there; two places «for the same thing» never share a guide.
A partner block, where present, is labeled “Guide partner,” visually separated from the editorial list, and excluded from the stated number of places. Partnership never affects editorial selection, ordering, or what is written about a place.
Checkable facts — address, opening hours, prices, a kids' room, a terrace or parking — come from the place's profile on magg.uz and are re-verified every quarter, by phone or through the venue's official channels. The verification date is shown in the «How we chose» box.
The year in a guide's title is the year of the last fact check. It changes only after a real re-verification, never by itself on 1 January.
Descriptions of qualities — «the quietest place to work before noon», «the best view of the city» — are the editors' opinion, not measurements. The facts about a place live on its page, together with customer reviews and the rating, which a guide never recomputes.
If an address, opening time or price is out of date, write to us via the «Partnership» page — we will check and fix it, and the guide's update date changes only after a real correction.
