How to write a good review

What to write about

Personal experience only. Write a review only if you personally bought the product or used the service.
Specifics and details. Tell us about your specific experience. Avoid vague phrases and include helpful details.
Pros and cons. Mention both the pros and cons of the product or service — a balanced review is the most helpful.
Recommend or not. A rating on magg.uz is a simple “recommend” or “don't recommend” — no stars.
Places in the catalog only. You can only review a place listed in the magg.uz catalog. Can't find it? Add it.

What to avoid

No names or personal data. Do not mention staff names or post personal data like phone numbers and addresses. Rate the product or service, not individual people.
No insults. Avoid insults, profanity and threats — such reviews will not pass moderation.
No prohibited content. Nudity and sexual content, cruelty, extremist symbols, drugs and weapons are prohibited — in text, photos and video. Such reviews are rejected automatically.
No ads or links. Do not include ads, promo codes or links to other services in your review.
No fake reviews. Do not write reviews for your own business or your competitors. Fake and paid reviews are removed.

Text quality

Grammar and spelling. Other people will read your review — check grammar and spelling and use complete sentences.
Easy to read. Keep it readable: no ALL CAPS, emoji floods or endless exclamation marks.
Keep it concise. Review text is limited to 2000 characters — anything over is cut off. Short and to the point beats long and vague.
In your language. Write in Russian, Uzbek (Latin script) or English. The bot understands and remembers your language.

Photos and video

Up to 10 photos. You can attach up to 10 photos to one review. Send them as regular photos, not as uncompressed files — files are not accepted.
One round video. Video is accepted only as a Telegram round video message — one per review, up to 12 MB. Regular video files are not accepted.
A receipt photo is welcome. Optionally attach a photo of your receipt — it confirms the visit. It is not required, but builds trust in the review.

Publishing and moderation

Confirmation first. The bot repeats your review back in one line and saves it only after you confirm.
Published under your name. Your review is shown on the site with your Telegram name.
Live within minutes. Your review appears on the site within minutes of saving.
One review per place. The site shows one review of yours per place.
You can update your review. Write a new review of the same place — it will replace the previous one, and the review date will update.
Up to 5 reviews a day. One user can save at most 5 reviews per day. The counter resets at midnight Tashkent time.
Keep the receipt. Keep your payment receipt. If the place disputes your review, we will ask for a copy — without it the review will be removed.
Moderation, not censorship. Every review, photo and video is automatically checked for prohibited content before publication. Bad ratings are never deleted or hidden.
